Stephen Spender is a London-born, Canadian-bred indie-folk singer-songwriter known for his signature gruff yet melodic vocals, playful lyricism, and roots-driven storytelling.

A seasoned international performer, he has toured extensively across Western Canada, the UK, Europe, and the Maritimes, including opening for the Arkells and spending years as a staple of the Granville Island music scene.

With a rich discography of four studio albums—two produced by Juno-nominated producer David Meszaros—Spender’s evocative songs have earned notable sync placements in major feature films and documentaries like Galveston and Chasing Evel, delivering a nostalgic, tender, and hopeful atmosphere to every stage.
